E-Visa details

• Validity: Up to 90 days for a single or multiple entry.
• Processing Time: 2-3 business days normally, excluding weekends and holidays. It’s recommended to apply at least 7 working days before your departure. Delays can occur due to incomplete applications or during peak seasons.
• Cost:
  • Single Entry E-Visa: USD 25 (~ ₹2082.15 based on an exchange rate as of April 25, 2024).
  • Multiple Entry E-Visa: USD 50 (~ ₹4164.30 based on the same exchange rate).
• Application Process:
  1. Visit the official Vietnam e-Visa portal at evisa.gov.vn.
  2. Fill out the online application form with accurate personal, passport, and travel details.
  3. Upload a scanned copy of your passport’s bio-data page and a recent passport-sized photograph (4×6 cm, white background, without glasses).
  4. Pay the visa fee online using a credit/debit card.
  5. Submit the application and wait for processing and approval.
  6. Receive your e-visa via email, download and print it.

Documents required

• Valid Passport: Must be valid for at least six months from your intended date of entry into Vietnam and have at least 2 blank pages.
• Recent Passport-Sized Photographs: 2 recent color photographs (4×6 cm) with a white background, no accessories, and clear facial features.

Visa on arrival (VOA)

• Indians are eligible for a Visa on Arrival (VOA) when travelling to Vietnam by air.

• Upon arrival at designated Vietnamese international airports, you will present the pre-approval letter and other required documents to get your visa stamp.
• Note: It is advisable to apply in advance for VOA to ensure a hassle-free journey.
